Freshly cut Herbs from your very own herb garden. It just doesn't get much better than that! We carry a large selection of herbs for all your culinary needs, from soups, salads, to teas, etc. Available individually or in mixed planters and baskets.
 
  • Arugula - popular in salads and adds a slight spicy, peppery flavour (Annual, full sun)
  • Lemon Balm - excellent use in a tea that stimulates the heart but also clams the nerves (Perennial, full sun)
  • Genovese Basil - Spicy taste and smell and is excellent in pesto; try with tomatoes (Annual, full sun)
  • Lemon Basil - Flavour is mild and excellent in stir fry vegetable dishes (Annual, full sun)
  • Catnip - Cats love the intoxicating leaves of this vigorous mint (Perennial, full sun)
  • Chives - Add to salads, soups, vegetables, omelets and cheese. Repels insects from itself as well as neighbouring plants (Perennial, full to part sun)
  • Coriander/Cilantro - Use leaves in curries, stews, salads, sauces and as a garnish. Use ground seeds in curries, apple pies, cake, biscuits (Annual, full sun)
  • Dill - Use leaves for soups, seasonings. Allow to go to seed for dill pickles (Annual, full sun)
  • Fennel - Chopped leaves are used with fish, soups, salads and stews. Improves digestion and is given to infants for calming (Perennial, Full to part sun)
  • Lavender - Used in dry sachets, scented soaps, perfumes and potpourris. Excellent for teas and baking (Perennial, full to part sun)
  • Lovage - Used in soups, stews and casseroles (Perennial, full sun)
  • Sweet Marjoram - Rubbing with fresh leaves before roasting improves strong meats. Aids digestion (Tender perennial, full sun)
  • Chocolate Mint - Excellent on ice cream, chopped fresh on cream cheese or with fruit. A "peppermint pattie" taste (Perennial, full to part sun)
  • English Mint - A favourite in mint jelly and lamb sauce, used with peas, carrots and potatoes (Perennial, full to part sun)
  • Peppermint - spicy flavour lends itself to many dishes. Excellent for stomach indigestion (Perennial, full to part sun)
  • Oregano - Use fresh or dried in sauces, soups and breads (Perennial, full sun)
  • Parsley - A diuretic and aids digestion. Use fresh or dried to compliment almost any dish, especially soups and stews (Biennial, full sun)
  • Rosemary - Enhance tomatoes, potatoes, mushrooms, eggs, squash, and peas. Also used in marinades and salad dressings (Tender Perennial, full sun)
  • Pineapple Sage - Has an extraordinary pineapple scent and grows 2-3 feet. The brilliant red flowers attract humming birds and butterflies. Used in drinks, with chicken, cheese, jams, jellies, and teas (Tender perennial, full sun)
  • Tricolour Sage - Add to stuffing’s, omelet's soup and stews. excellent in a tea to ease a sore throat (Tender perennial, full sun)
  • Tarragon - Enticing anise or licorice flavour. Use fresh or dried in sauces or marinated meats (Perennial, full sun)
